Liam Kalson

Liam Kalson began his studies at age 13. He has studied under renowned classical guitarists Ricardo Cobo, and now Craig Ogden at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. He has won third prize in both the 2022 Houston Classical Guitar Festival and Competition and the 2018 UNLV Performing Arts Center Classical Guitar Competition, in addition to first prizes in the 2022 Spring Edition World Open Online Music Competition and the Spring 2022 King's Peak International Music Competition. He's played in masterclasses of Eliot Fisk (twice), Laura Snowden, Redmond O'toole and Mengya Tian, and has studied privately with Marc Teicholz and Steven Lin.
